Instruction Manual

To setup the Barricade Card with the app you want to use it with, please follow the instructions provided online by that app. For your convenience, we link the instructions below for the most common apps.

We also created a video below for you on how to setup the Barricade Card with Coinbase as an example of how it works.

Pro-Tips:

Your security key is your one-stop secure login method for all of your apps.
Do not lose your security key.
Do not share, lend, or allow anyone to use your security key.
You must register each of your security keys separately. Registering your key does not automatically register your backup key.
We do not store backup copies of your security keys. This is a core security feature and cannot be bypassed.
If you replace or add a Barricade Card, you must enroll the new card again with each app.
Always register at least two security keys (a primary key and a backup key) with each app.
Store your backup key in a physically separate, secure location. We recommend a fireproof lockbox like this one on Amazon.
If you lose all registered security keys, you may permanently lose access to accounts that require a security key for login.
Verify that you can successfully sign in with each key after you set it up on an app.
If you lose a Barricade Card or it is stolen, immediately remove that card (and not other cards which were not lost or stolen) from each app that it is registered on.
